Premarital Counselling at Singapore Counselling Centre

The Singapore Counselling Centre conducted another run of its premarital counselling programme for 5 couples yesterday evening.

This 4-session programme consists of 1 combined session with other couples, and 3 private and customized sessions between you, your partner and the counsellor. We create a safe and structured space for the couple to talk about key issues such as life goals, finances, personality traits and more.

Structure

The programme consists of 4 sessions, each of which has a duration of 1.5 hours (90 minutes).

First Session

  • Group-setting without any personal sharing required of the couples
  • Introduction to some broad frameworks that will be used during the programme (eg. values and beliefs, types of interactions, etc.)
  • Couples to decide on specific areas of interest that they would like to focus on for the subsequent sessions
